I wish we would have been able to snorkel more in Klein Beach. Overall this was a fun excursion and would recommend it. The crew in the boat will put a cream on your bites. The end up looking and feeling like mosquito bites. The day we went 8/29, there were "sea lice" in the water and I got stung a couple of times while in the ocean. Near the coral we found an octopus which was pretty awesome. We took our snorkel gear and found lots of big fish. This was a great site and we saw lots of fish and two turtles. This year will mark Bonaire’s very first annual Rum Festival, a weeklong event taking place June 14 to 17, 2022. Once our group was done we stayed in water until they called everyone in. You snorkel with your guide as they take you along the reef. They break you up into 5 groups to snorkel along the reef. They also play music and try to make everyone get up and dance.
They do make you wear those fashionable vests while snorkeling.
They provide you with a snorkel mask and adjustable flippers (nice ones). Our snorkel site was about a 30 min ride. Aqua Fun Bonaire can organize your boat trip on Bonaire. We were greeted by an energized crew along with a local drink.
